Are you blessed? How do you know? Do you have the same criteria as Jesus? Did you say "I'm poor, I'm despised, and I'm also hungry..."? If not, think about it. You're going to want to be these things so Jesus can bless you... Let's just try hungry for today.
How hungry are you for Christ? How hungry are you for communion with God? How hungry are you for infinite love? How can you crank that up another notch? Is it enough to look at a crucifix? How about listening to some great preacher? Maybe fasting or a little pilgrimage would do the trick... Whatever it is that gets you hungry for God, do it today... You will be blessed!
